Pointing out the Obvious

In this episode, I give a brief example of how to point out some features of books to increase children's knowledge and awareness of literature and clues to understanding the content of the books! 

Some features are: Title, Author, Illustrator, Pictures, Words, Sentences, Pages, Page numbers, Where to read next (line to line, page to page), What clues the pictures give, What clues the text give, Inferences, Reading level, Publisher/year, Series, Genre
